Depending on how you look at it this is good news or bad news. Blackbaud's index of giving shows nonprofits received a 0.1% increase in giving in 2014 over 2013. 

Online giving increased 4.4% for the three months ending November 2014 as compared to the same period in 2013, so that's positive news but that by itself means nonprofits should be looking toward online campaigns for 2015.
