Social Engagement Platform for Online Fundraising
Great Feats LLC has announced a new approach for online fundraising and awareness building with Great Feats, the year-round social engagement platform that combines real-world challenge activities with social media, gamification and peer-to-peer fundraising. The Co-Founders are Dave Hart, former Convio CTO and Architect, John Abraham, former Convio Director of Enterprise Sales, and Amy Van Wyngarden, former Convio National Accounts Executive and Head of Customer Marketing.
The company’s approach is different in the way users are engaged, social media is integrated and the platform is offered to customers. “We set out to build something fundamentally different,” said Dave Hart, Co-Founder and CTO of Great Feats. “Our platform makes engagement creative and effective by using activities to get people involved year-round, making social media part of the experience and building in proven peer-to-peer fundraising best practices.”
The platform motivates users to get involved in activities before asking them to do anything else and makes it easy for them to invite others, spread the word and fundraise through social media and email. Users can join and complete challenges directly from social media and are rewarded not just for fundraising, but for recruiting and social sharing.
Great Feats is designed to help nonprofits acquire and engage supporters and deepen understanding of their cause and help companies engage their employees and enhance their brand and corporate social responsibility programs. “Many organizations struggle to articulate and differentiate their core cause,” said Co-Founder, Amy Van Wyngarden. “Getting people involved in unique activities helps create understanding while providing memorable experiences that open the door for long-term engagement.”
The Great Feats platform is offered through a subscription service, including a 30-day free trial, transparent and affordable pricing and the ability to change subscription plans. The platform is free to use by individuals participating in challenges.
“We believe technology should be affordable and accessible, particularly for organizations bringing people together for a greater purpose.” said Co-Founder John Abraham. “We’re committed to delivering a flexible and effective platform that organizations of any size will successfully use all year long and year after year.”
