Real Vision Software to Provide Enhanced Document Imaging and Storage

AccuFund, Inc., provider of financial reporting and accounting software for non-profit, municipal and government organizations, has announced a partnership with Real Vision Software (RVI) to integrate the RVI Document Imaging System with the AccuFund Accounting Suite, providing enhanced document imaging and storage capabilities for organizations with enterprise-level requirements.

“AccuFund currently has the ability to store document images internally, but we deal with many large clients who are looking for more advanced indexing and retrieval capabilities,” said Peter Stam, president of AccuFund, Inc. “We researched the non-profit space for a company offering robust document imaging and storage and found it is RVI’s specialty. Our tight integration with this feature-rich document imaging solution is especially attractive to those clients who have large amounts of data and require a more enterprise-level solution to meet their needs.”

When documents are scanned or uploaded in AccuFund, they are automatically indexed in RVI, making them easy to retrieve. There is no manual entry of code and other information related to the document, as RVI automatically captures that information from AccuFund and attaches it to the document. Documents stored in RVI are directly linked to transactions in AccuFund and can be viewed and reported within AccuFund as easily as those stored in the AccuFund database.

“We welcome this opportunity to integrate with AccuFund’s powerful accounting software package to provide more enhanced document imaging and storage capabilities for their nonprofit clients,” said John Paul Roundtree, director of marketing and partner relations at RVI. “We have found that organizations in every industry need document imaging and non-profits are no different. We work with numerous types of non-profits across the U.S. and, like corporations, they have records retention requirements based on government or industry regulations.”
