ABILA NAMES NEW CEO

Abila has selected Craig Charlton as CEO, replacing Krista Endsley, who had led the Austin, Texas-based nonprofit software company since its founding. Endsley was CEO since it was formed in March 2013 following its purchase from Sage by Accel-KKR.

Endsley started with the Abra operations of Sage's predecessor company in this country, Best Software, in July 2001. In her last four years, she was SVP and ran the NFP software business. Her LinkedIn page says at Sage she was responsible for a $30 million business unit and that she grew revenue by 24 percent from 2007 to 2013. Charlton was serving as  a strategic advisor to Accel-KKR but his roots are in Epicor Software's operations in the Asia-Pacific region. He joined Epicor in May 2007 with its purchase of Australian reseller Professional Advantage, where he created the VAR's Epicor practice. He was SVP and GM of the software company's Asia Pacific business from April 2012 through March 2016.
