BiddingForGood is One of the 8 Companies in Massachusetts Selected by AlwaysOn

BiddingForGood, the leading cause related e-commerce platform solely for organizations engaged in auction fundraising for nonprofit causes, today announced that it has been chosen by AlwaysOn as one of the OnMedia 100 winners. Inclusion in the OnMedia 100 signifies major developments in the creation of marketing tools, services, venues, and advertising, branding, and public relation campaigns. BiddingForGood was selected by the AlwaysOn editorial team and other industry experts across the globe, based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value, and media buzz.
BiddingForGood and the other OnMedia 100 winners will be honored at the OnMedia conference scheduled to occur on February 1-3, 2009 at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City, where company CEO Jon Carson will speak about “Branding for Good.” Carson will explain how innovative brands are building positive brand equity by doing “good” and why the intersection of social good & corporate profit is the new sweet spot.

OnMedia NYC is where cutting-edge technology CEOs from the back streets of Silicon Valley meet the global advertising and media establishment. The two-and-a-half day executive event will feature technology CEOs from Silicon Valley leading presentations and high-level debates with the global advertising and media establishment, about disrupting user behavior and creating new opportunities in the marketing, branding, advertising, and public relations industries.

“Our view is that we are still moving up a very steep Internet innovation curve, which means the media world will continue to be radicalized.” said Tony Perkins, founder and CEO of AlwaysOn. “We congratulate the OnMedia 100 winners for their success in introducing the tools, services, and platforms that continue to disrupt the old ways of Madison Avenue for the benefit of marketers and content consumers alike.”
