CharityCall Launches mobileDonor

CharityCall LLC, a provider of revolutionary mobile platforms enabling donors to support their preferred charities and causes from anywhere at any time, is pleased to announce its new mobileDonorTM smartphone application. The mobile web application is accessible from any web enabled smartphone without having to download and will provide charities with a set of unique tools enabling them to accept mobile donations in any amount and keep supporters up to date on pertinent news by sending updates from the web that automatically stream directly to the SmartPhone App each time they are opened.

"In today's financially challenged times, nonprofits are seeking new ways to attract, engage and empower donors to make an impact in the communities where they live, work and play," says Robert A. Jones, Founder and President of CharityCall. "With the explosive growth and deployment of web-enabled SmartPhones, we are proud to deliver a technology that can help cultivate a charitable culture among Americans, as well as give faith-based, arts, community and educational nonprofits a turnkey solution to foster change around the world."

Named "America's Favorite Zoo" in a nationwide contest designed by Microsoft Game Studios to promote its Zoo Tycoon 2 video game in 2005, Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum is among the recent Oklahoma-based nonprofit organizations to integrate mobileDonorTM into its fundraising strategy. "Tulsa Zoo Friends is excited about the opportunity to raise additional funds for the Tulsa Zoo through our new mobileDonor program," says Lindsay Hutchinson, Development Director at Tulsa Zoo. "We anticipate that this program will help us make an even bigger impact for all of the exhibits at the Tulsa Zoo."

This new mobile app, branded for each nonprofit, provides donors with a quick, easy, convenient, and transparent way to give on their own terms with donations of $25, $50, $75 or more and is compatible with all wireless carriers in the US. Unlike SMS text donations that limit the size of gifts, this application allows giving in any denomination and is managed through PayPal or your credit/debit card account.

"Through performances, dance training and outreach programs, Tulsa Ballet has developed a reputation for innovative ideas and great artistic achievements," comments Amy Miller, Director of Development for Tulsa Ballet. "Our mobile giving campaign will benefit an outreach program for at-risk youth allowing donors to sponsor a child using their cell phones. A gift of $25 provides a special ballet class for a child who would never otherwise have the opportunity to participate."

For Sylvia Fooshee, Executive Director of Sand Springs Education Foundation, "a crucial part of our growth and success lies in the integration of social media and interactive web initiatives into our development and marketing strategy."

"The 2008 Presidential Election and recent global current events have proven that the mobile web can have a powerful impact on fundraising efforts," continues Fooshie, "and we are extremely grateful to CharityCall for providing the tools to help us economically connect, engage and build a strong network of donors."
