Waterfall Mobile Partners With mGive

Waterfall Mobile, the leader in digital messaging software, announced today it has partnered with mGive, the leading provider of mobile services to non-profit organizations, to offer mobile giving to its clients. mGive is a proven technology platform that powers the mobile giving process for non-profit organizations. This new strategic partnership brings industry leading mobile giving functionality to Waterfall Mobile's current suite of offerings.

Subscribers can now easily donate to charitable causes in seconds, and have the donation automatically charged to their cell phone bill.  For Waterfall Mobile's non-profit clients the new partnership with mGive provides the customer with a seamless, no-fail method of collecting mobile donations - one that has been accredited by all of the major wireless providers.

PETA is the first client to sign up for the offering.  In June, PETA launched a campaign called "Elephants Never Forget" to run in conjunction with Vans Warped Tour 2010.  Through the initiative, PETA will engage with Tour attendees to spread awareness of the abuse of circus elephants and encourage them to act.  People can text PETA2 to 27722 to donate $5 to the cause.

"Millions were raised via text in the US alone in for aid to Haiti.  This singular campaign showcased to the world that mobile is truly an invaluable platform for inspiring digital activism and raising money for important causes," said Matt Silk, SVP of Waterfall Mobile.  "It is truly amazing how quickly small donations of $5 can add up to really help a cause, and we are ecstatic to partner with the industry leader to bring this functionality to our clients."

"Partnering with top-tier messaging providers like Waterfall will simply help drive the mobile giving industry forward and evolve the feature set even faster," said James Eberhard, Chairman and Founder of mGive.  "Combining forces and empowering their clients provides an end-to-end solution that will be tough to compete with in the market."
