FUND E-Z Version 10 makes it easy to organize donors, gifts and pledges and to track members. It has a feature which allows you to mail merge letters and emails and has auto tracking of the mailings you have performed. This software makes it easy to create customized lists and reports by allowing you to choose specific data according to your needs.

FUND E- Z has flexible predesigned, and custom reports and the software also has multi user capabilities. Version 10 has a new style similar to Microsoft Office 2007, which gives you instant visibility and one click access to all functions. There is a customizable Quick Access Toolbar which makes it convenient to access different modules and menus. The new SQL data editor gives the administrators direct access to underlying data files. This software makes managing donor and pledge information easy and keeps all your data organized.

Technology employed
Fund E-Z is a Windows based client/server application. It utilizes Microsoft .NET 2.0+ and SQL Server Express 2005, which is included. It provides improved speed, reliability and data integrity. The server should have a Pentium III 2GHz or higher, hard disk needs 2GB or higher and Windows Server 2003, 2008, XP or Vista. The client end should have the requirements for the server and have either XP or Vista and Microsoft Office 2003 or higher is required for mail merge features.

Ease of use, configuration, and deployment
FUND E-Z is user friendly and you can easily navigate between modules. This application is client server based, so setup requires configuring your network for the number of users you have in your nonprofit organization. There is support available, and there is also a variety of training resources you can use.

The newest version of FUND E-Z has many new built in features which make tracking and managing donor information simple. The mail merge has been enhanced to support both paper and email. There is built in relationship tracking by household or employer which makes tracking matching gifts and auto pledges simpler. This is easy to use software allows access to all data from one simple to use menu.

FUND EZ Fund Raising software starts at $995, and there are additional add-ons and products. Their pricing is made up of three components which includes; modules, add-ons and annual support. The module is for the product itself, add-ons include multi-user add-ons and annual support is required for the first year.

My Opinion
FUND E-Z Version 10 is a versatile and complete application that allows small to mid size nonprofit organizations to efficiently and effectively mange donors and pledges. In this version they have totally revamped the fund raising module, which can stand alone or be integrated with the FUND E-Z accounting software. There is a donor history tab that allows for quick access to a donor’s history. This is a complete system that would be suitable for all types of nonprofit organizations.
