Not for profit organizations typically have great causes, but that doesn't mean anyone in the organization is an email marketing expert. Yet email marketing is becoming more critical for fundraising and generating awareness. The placement of elements on the page, the font choice, even the colors you use all create an impression before the recipient reads a single word of text. Sage North America has taken two big steps into the world of software as a service with an online version of its Sage SalexLogix Cloud CRM deployment and its Sage FundRaising Online. Both moves to the clouds came at this week's Sage Insights reseller conference in Denver with the fundraising package marking a major difference in how Sage gets products to market.
