Blytheco is demonstrating its commitment to the Sage partner channel and customer community by assuring them that there will be NO penalties, conversion fees or extra charges to upgrade Sage Extended Solutions to bly|Apps enhancements for MAS 90 or MAS 200. In early 2010, Sage announced the discontinuation of Sage Extended Solutions, a catalog of hundreds of popular enhancements to MAS 90 and MAS 200 customers and partners, leaving customers who own them, and the partners who serve them, without upgrade options. Two dozen of the Sage Extended Solutions titles have been incorporated into MAS 90 and MAS 200 in updates to versions 4.4 and 4.5; hundreds of others become available to Sage Master Developer partners to distribute. Blytheco, with more Extended Solutions customers than any other Sage partner, is committed to filling the void for these solutions to our customers and to the Sage channel. "We understand that customers and partners are confused by these changes, and it was important to us to offer Sage customers the ability to continue using Extended Solutions just as they did with Sage," said Danny Baker, Blytheco Vice President of Development. "Our large team and our resources enable us to provide the solutions at the same price as Sage without penalizing the customer - it's the right thing to do for the Sage community." They have hired key former members of the Sage Extended Solutions staff, who bring decades of experience to the BlythecoDev team. A new, streamlined website is in development, which will keep customers and partners updated on product statuses and pricing, and allow them to vote on conversion priority. They estimate the first 100 solutions to be completed by the end of 2010.
