DonorPerfect has announced the release of DonorPages®, which empowers an organization's supporters its donors, volunteers, board members and other constituents -- to raise money and awareness for their nonprofit's mission! With DonorPages®, a nonprofit can create an event/campaign website that allows its supporters to easily create their own individualized web pages.
DonorPages® also utilizes the latest Web 2.0 technologies, which enable supporters to use email or social networking sites such as MySpace or Facebook to invite everyone they know to visit their cause page. Page visitors can then learn about the nonprofit's mission and why it is important to the supporter. Motivating page visitors to donate online, or take other desired actions such as registering for an event, signing a petition, etc., is made easy with on-page links. Jon Biedermann, DonorPerfect Vice President, notes Social network fundraising is becoming a part of many nonprofits fundraising strategy, but the solutions available have been expensive, technically complex, and targeted primarily at larger organizations. We've designed DonorPages® to make it available to virtually any size nonprofit. One of the first DonorPages® beneficiaries was the Make-A-Wish foundation of Missouri. They received over $42,000 from Video Golfers for Underdogs, a group of virtual golfers who used DonorPages® to solicit their social network for a 2-day golf marathon. Krista Goszewski of the Make-A-Wish Foundation noted, "We're thrilled with the results of this unique fundraiser. The final results greatly exceeded our expectations for the event." DonorPages® provides a full set of features to support team-based fundraising, sponsored events such as walk-a-thons, races, etc., as well tributes and memorial-oriented contributions. All donation and registration data collected via DonorPages® can be quickly and easily downloaded into SofterWare's popular DonorPerfect® or DonorPerfect Online® fundraising software, or any spreadsheet or database. www.donorperfect.com/donorpages | |||
