For the second time in the two years that the report was compiled, DonorPerfect received the highest fundraising software ratings among all vendors in the recently updated report, "A Consumer's Guide to Low Cost Donor Management Systems," from nonprofit organizations, NTEN and Idealware.

DonorPerfect Installed and DonorPerfect Online received more "Excellent" ratings for their features than any other products evaluated. The report also identifies several purchasing categories for nonprofits with the DonorPerfect products receiving six recommendations, which is more than any other vendor.

How the Evaluations Were Performed
Nonprofits organizations NTEN and Idealware initially identified 29 systems that met their criteria for cost-effectiveness and popular use. After interviews, surveys and demonstrations, they selected DonorPerfect as one of the top ten solutions "that, to our minds, had the best combination of functionality, price and attractiveness in a number of situations" according to the report authors. The ten products were evaluated on many different criteria, and recommendations were made based on nonprofit purchasing categories as well as on specific features.

DonorPerfect Stands Out

DonorPerfect received the following recommendations for the purchasing categories in which many nonprofits classify themselves:

• You're a tiny but growing organization, and price is critical
• You need something easy to set up and use
• Fundraising events are a critical part of your process
• You want to track all your constituents in one system
• You need to integrate tightly with email and your web site
• You need something highly configurable

In the Features Comparison, where the ten vendors received Excellent, Good or Fair ratings, both DonorPerfect Online and DonorPerfect Installed, with all modules available, received a greater number of "Excellents" than any of the other products. With a total of 18 Excellent ratings available, here are the results:

• DonorPerfect Installed-16 Excellents (up 1 from 2009)
