What do an autism support group, a sustainable business district and a classical music revolution have in common? They are all deserving nonprofit organizations that will receive free email marketing and communication services from Emma, Inc. in 2012, and for the lifetime of their organizations.
Email marketing service provider Emma announced today its 2012 Emma 25, a program that annually awards 25 charitable organizations free email marketing tools for the lifetime of the nonprofit. Emma has donated services to more than 200 nonprofits worldwide through Emma 25, now in its eighth year of operation. Members of 501(c)3 organizations with 10 or fewer full-time employees are eligible for the Emma 25 program. More than 225 nonprofits applied this year. "All the applicants were worthy. Supremely worthy, really, which made it extremely difficult to choose 25 from all the deserving nominees," said Emma CEO Clint Smith. "We set out to find organizations that really struck an Emma chord, like nonprofits for which email is the missing link or is a natural extension of their existing outreach communication efforts." Emma 25 organizations receive an Emma account, a custom-designed email stationery design and a lifetime of email and survey service, all at no cost. Emma 25 honorees also receive unlimited support and account help, and access to special classes on mastering the fundamentals of email marketing. Emma 25 recipients from this year include: Austin Creative Reuse, an Austin collective that collects paper, buttons, test tubes, etc. from all over Central Texas to reuse in its creative arts programs and sell in its retail store (http://www.
