Tech Helps Homeless Get Needed Items
A new app is debuting in Seattle to help the homeless, reports GeekWire. The GiveSafe app helps the homeless get items they need like hygiene products, food and shelter. App users get notifications of need and are able to make in app donations, which are then used by homeless at a participating vendor.
