Growth in the Enterprise Sector Fueled by Newest Abila Executive Team

Abila, a provider of software solutions dedicated to serving dynamic nonprofit organizations, membership associations, higher education institutions and government agencies, announces the company is fueling its enterprise-level product footprint and offerings with an expanded leadership team. New executives to join the Abila team include Russ Odom as senior vice president and general manager of netFORUM Enterprise, Craig Dellorso as its chief customer officer and Jay Love as senior vice president.

Odom and Dellorso will focus on accelerating the strategic growth and delivery of the netFORUM Enterprise Social CRM solution into large membership, association and nonprofit organizations. Love will serve as a strategic advisor to help drive nonprofit product strategy and business initiatives.

The new executives will join existing leadership, Erin Shy, vice president of product management and product marketing, Sandra Bucklin, vice president of marketing, Grant Howe, vice president of research and development, Scott Springer, vice president of support and operations and Chris Wicker, vice president of sales, to further strengthen Abila’s existing platform initiatives in the nonprofit and association industries.

"We are excited about the depth of experience our executive team brings together and their deep acumen in the markets we serve,” said Krista Endsley, CEO, Abila. “Their collective backgrounds in enterprise-level solutions will be an incredible asset as we deliver on our vision and continue to expand our capabilities for our association and nonprofit customers.”

Odom brings more than 20 years of experience to his role at Abila. With a strong track record of managing customer focused finance and accounting operations for growth-oriented technology companies, Odom will now focus on netFORUM Enterprise customers’ needs and business growth. Previously he served as chief financial officer of Avectra.

As chief customer officer, Dellorso will be responsible for customer care and operations across the netFORUM Enterprise business, focusing on the expansion of Abila’s Social CRM netFORUM platform. Prior to joining Abila, Dellorso served in various executive leadership positions during his seven years at Avectra.  Before joining Avectra, Dellorso served as chief information officer for the National Association of College and University Business Officers.

“As a netFORUM Enterprise customer for over five years, we have been able to very effectively track and manage our member engagement, which in turn has grown our business quickly,” James Gibson, director of business integration, American Hospital Association. “We look forward to the partnership between Avectra and Abila and the increased opportunities this will provide for new product offerings and enhanced customer support.”

On August 21, Abila acquired McLean, Va.-based Avectra and became one of the largest software solutions providers serving the nonprofit, association membership and government agencies sectors. Abila serves more than 8,000 organizations nationwide.
