A big campaign requires many facets to come together. For a charity, one of the main facets are volunteers. Without volunteers activities cannot run smoothly especially in the nonprofit sector where many charities and nonprofits rely solely on volunteers to run their activities and events. Volunteer management platforms are needed now more than ever. While a spreadsheet might work for a small nonprofit, larger nonprofits need a management tool to keep track of availability, hours volunteered, and contact information. Charity Republic’s aims to make volunteer management easier and accessible. This way nonprofits can focus on their mission instead of coordinating volunteers.

A nonprofit organization cannot survive on donations alone. While donors are a huge facet of a charity’s income, many turn to grants to fund their organizations. Ask any nonprofit, grant writing is taxing and often times frustrating. Time and money is spent on crafting a proposal only to not receive the grant in the end. It doesn’t help that no grant is the same, each requiring their own set of documentation. Not only do writing proposals take time, but so does managing them. While GrantHub doesn’t help with the former, they can definitely help with the latter. A management platform, GrantHub is designed to help nonprofits handle their work flow, track deadlines, and run reports.

Besides being in the business of helping people- what do all nonprofit organizations have in common? Founder of LetsAllDoGood- Greg McHale thinks he knows the answer. Every nonprofit he speaks to whether it’s a large nonprofit or one that is just starting up, has the same problem. When trying to reach their donor base- emails just aren’t enough. Click-through rates of emails are steadily declining and organic Facebook ads aren’t filling that gap. McHale states, “If you’re not using paid posts- no one is seeing your stuff.” This is a problem he believes his smartphone app can fix.
