Intacct Announces the Intacct Digital Board Book for Fundraising

Intacct, a provider of cloud ERP software, announced the availability of the Intacct Digital Board Book for Fundraising. This new digital board book is the first and only mid-market cloud financial management solution to automate the calculation of operational fundraising insights for nonprofit organizations, using real-time transactional data from systems of record, including Salesforce and Intacct. This new solution is being showcased today at Intacct Advantage 2015, the annual Intacct customer and partner conference, taking place this week in Las Vegas.

The launch of Intacct's Digital Board Book for Fundraising meets a timely and significant market need. The fundraising environment is dynamic and development leadership needs real-time insights into efficiency and effectiveness in order to optimize their fundraising activities. Most nonprofits must track these critical metrics manually, often months after the fact. Additionally, fundraising has grown increasingly competitive, with donors preferring to give to nonprofits that can demonstrate excellent stewardship and allocation of funds received. Driving robust organizational growth, whether through adding additional funding streams, expanding program offerings, or offering more locations or partnerships, requires greater accountability. Funding opportunities and credibility are strengthened when accurate metrics are reported on a regular and timely basis.

"Intacct has evolved to be the go-to solution for most all non-profits, lending the functionality of its multi-dimensional core accounting capabilities with statistical metrics that can be tracked within Intacct or taken from other systems. Intacct's dashboard capabilities are able to give not only leadership, but also the board of directors and other stakeholders and decision makers, easy to understand insight into how a non-profit is performing," said Abe Mathew, Principal at CliftonLarsonAllen. "The new Intacct Digital Board Book for Fundraising takes visibility to a whole new level.  Instant visibility to real time data and metrics around all aspects of funding ensures that organizations can proactively manage and sustain operations to help ensure mission success."

"The Digital Board Book for Fundraising is a game-changing, real-time operational tool that provides dynamic insights into the information that matters most to nonprofits," said Dan Miller, VP of product management at Intacct. "These nonprofit fundraising metrics provide a full picture of funding health and allow instant insight to the heart of the organization's mission, versus looking at individual numbers that might not tell the entire story."

The Digital Board Book for Fundraising is a real-time strategy tool that meets these needs specific to nonprofit organizations. Key efficiency metrics such as cost per dollar donated, fundraising expense ratio, and fundraising efficiency, along with donor metrics like the number of total, major, and active donors are displayed as snapshots and trends via a dashboard of  performance cards, reports, charts, graphs. The metrics are delivered in real-time – automatically calculated using donor and funds data from Salesforce, and cost and expense data from Intacct. Real-time delivery eliminates delays in monitoring these metrics and improves the accuracy of the data.

This insight is delivered within the financial system of record, with the same completeness and accuracy as the GAAP financials. Users are enabled to proactively assess performance versus plan and take corrective and proactive action to ensure needed funds and commitments are met.
