Closing The Cybersecurity Gap For Nonprofits

Closing The Cybersecurity Gap For Nonprofits Alex Radelich

Okta for Good—the social impact initiative created by Okta—recently announced new initiatives aimed at expanding the effort to close the cybersecurity gap for nonprofit organizations. According to the company, only one in three nonprofits have the resources and expertise to protect their data and systems from cyberattacks, leaving them vulnerable to attack. The impact of a successful attack can be devastating.

Opinion:

It is absolutely essential that nonprofit organizations have access to the resources and expertise necessary to protect their data and systems from cyberattacks. The potential impact of a successful attack on these organizations is too great to ignore. It is encouraging to see Okta for Good taking the initiative to expand access to cybersecurity for nonprofits, and I hope that other organizations will follow suit. We must work together to ensure that all organizations, regardless of size, have the tools they need to protect themselves from cyber threats.
