Truist Financial Corporation has made a $2.5 million dollar grant to TechSoups Covid Recovery Fund, reports the Idaho State Journal.

TechSoup, the leading nonprofit network provider of technology solutions to civil society organizations globally, today announced that it has received a $2.5 million grant from Truist Financial Corporation to support the TechSoup COVID Recovery Fund, a gap-filling funding measure that helps grassroots nonprofits make critical technology investments while continuing to serve the most vulnerable communities through the coronavirus crisis and into the futur

According to Forbes, nonprofits could benefit from investing in tech that helps them be more transparent.

The nonprofit sector is one of the largest in the U.S. economy, and despite the inevitable hit it will take due to Covid-19 and the resulting economic contraction, we've seen a drastic rise in charitable giving.

The Toledo Lucas County Public Library has partnered with PCs for People to help families get tech, reports the Toledo Blade. 

Through a partnership with a national nonprofit organization, the Toledo Lucas County Public Library is distributing desktop computers to income-eligible individuals and families.
