Sage Peachtree 2012 Helps Nonprofits Manage More With Less

Sage today announced the general availability of the Sage Peachtree 2012 industry-specific products, including Sage Peachtree Premium Accounting for Nonprofits, as well as Sage Peachtree Quantum 2012 and the rest of the core Sage Peachtree 2012 lineup.

"Many nonprofit organizations are struggling to do more with less. In many cases, organizations are working with fewer employees on staff and fewer financial resources. Nonprofits must maximize both, all while carefully maintaining accountability to donors," said Connie Certusi, executive vice president and general manager, small business accounting solutions, Sage. "Sage Peachtree 2012 is easier to use than ever, helping nonprofits access the critical information that they need at a glance and complete key tasks quickly, so they can focus on serving the communities and organizations that depend on them for support."

Sage Peachtree Premium Accounting for Nonprofits 2012 extends far beyond basic accounting, bringing nonprofits an array of capabilities for more effective organizational management. Sage Peachtree Premium Accounting for Nonprofits and Sage Peachtree Quantum combine a range of helpful features with the solid accounting and strong organizational reporting features for which Sage Peachtree is known.

New with Sage Peachtree Premium Accounting for Nonprofits 2012 is the Sage Advisor, which helps organizations maximize their software investment, whether they are new to Sage Peachtree or have been using it for several years. The Sage Advisor helps them by following usage patterns and intuitively offering brief, personalized "show me how" demos and guided tips and tricks, prompting organizations to discover new ways to simplify processes and obtain valuable business advice. The tips can be saved for later review or dismissed completely if preferred.

Sage Peachtree 2012 handily simplifies mundane tasks so that organizations can get more work done faster, increasing efficiency with a new, simplified network installation and the ability to copy transactions. As with previous releases of Sage Peachtree, small nonprofits continue to get true double-entry accounting and analysis tools, along with nonprofit-specific reports and templates for fundraising and donor relations.

Also new with Sage Peachtree 2012 is the new Sage Peachtree Business Intelligence, a reporting and analysis add-on solution integrated with Sage Peachtree. Using the familiar Microsoft® Excel® interface, it enables more robust reporting and easier access to Sage Peachtree data. It's powerful business intelligence for small businesses at an affordable price. Sage Peachtree Business Intelligence has built-in templates for sales, purchasing and financial reporting to get up and running quickly, but users can design their own reports as well. Because Sage Peachtree Business Intelligence pulls directly from the system without the need for export or manipulation, reports are always current with latest data, so organizations can more readily analyze the data that matters most to them, get the insight they need, and make informed decisions.

At the top of the Sage Peachtree lineup is Sage Peachtree Quantum 2012, the most comprehensive application in the line. Sage Peachtree Quantum offers organizations the simplicity of an integrated accounting solution, with enhanced performance and capacity from five to 40 named users.

For those nonprofits that need more accounting functionality than Sage Peachtree can provide, Sage offers Sage Fund Accounting. The company also offers a flexible fundraising and event management connected service for nonprofits of all sizes. Delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS), Sage Fundraising Onlineallows nonprofit organizations to more effectively use the Internet to increase giving, participation, and overall support through online donations and registrations. Sage works to ensure nonprofit organizations have familiar and affordable options to support their long term goals.
