Partnering with the Alliance for A Healthier Generation, founded by the American Heart Association and theWilliam J. Clinton Foundation, Good Deed Tees has launched a Keep Moving campaign geared toward tackling childhood obesity. Consumers are encouraged to participate in a great cause and empower children to lead healthier lifestyles at home, school and in their communities. Good Deed Tees will donate $6 from each purchase of a t-shirt ($25) or tote bag ($18).
The socially responsible site plans to launch additional campaigns in the future that focus on domestic violence, clean water initiatives, cancer research, human trafficking and rape victims. Inspired by philanthrocapitalism movements and the power of consumer buying, founder Vincent Smith states "Good Deed Tees believes that making an impact means more than just selling the latest trends in fashion. We are driven by making a socially responsible statement and enriching the lives of everyone." Our goal is to engage consumers in social consciousness by offering a variety of consumer products beyond fashion to include skin care & more and be exemplified through online checkout options that allow consumers to select a charity from an approved list of organizations.
