It allows for full customization and has more robust budgeting tools, along with Serenic AwardVision for grant management.
Serenic’s new RapidStart Services enable streamlined implementation and configuration processes, giving organizations control and overview of the company setup process. This is achieved with just a few simple steps, taking advantage of a new template/wizard format.

All three Serenic Navigator products help manage fund accounting processes – including all core financial functions, receiving, budgeting and fixed assets. The software respects nonprofits’ and government agencies’ specific needs, including reporting to boards and donors and meeting Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) requirements such as FASB 116 and FASB 117. Since Serenic Navigator is an embedded Microsoft Dynamics NAV-based solution, users can take advantage of full Microsoft Office integration for data sharing and reporting and personalization features. Secure hosting services utilize Microsoft Windows Azure.

“We’ve created Serenic Navigator options to give organizations the functionality they need at price points that help maximize productivity in carrying out their missions,” said Serenic CEO and President Randy Keith. “Whether they choose a cloud-based or on-premise model, they can tap into Serenic’s expertise for nonprofit financial management, including easy integration with their existing Microsoft solutions and the ability to add users and functionality as they grow.”

Leveraging a subscription billing model helps users minimize initial investment and provides a consistent ongoing monthly expense. By subscribing to Serenic Navigator’s shared, scalable services accessed over the Internet, organizations also can reduce IT spending and eliminate the need to purchase and manage underlying hardware, software licenses, or data/networking infrastructure to support the service.
