Steve MacLaughlin Elected to NTEN Board of Directors

Blackbaud, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLKB) has announced that Steve MacLaughlin, Blackbaud's director of Internet solutions, has been elected to the Nonprofit Technology Network(NTEN) board of directors.


It's a great pleasure to welcome Steve to the NTEN board, said Holly Ross, NTEN's executive director.  I know our community will benefit from the great energy, knowledge, and experience he brings with him.

Board members guide the work of NTEN throughout the year and represent the makeup of the nonprofit technology community. NTEN is a membership organization that facilitates the exchange of knowledge and information within the nonprofit community. By connecting members to each other, NTEN provides professional development opportunities, educates its constituency on issues of technology use in nonprofits, and spearheads groundbreaking research, advocacy, and education on technology issues affecting the community.

As the director of Internet solutions at Blackbaud, MacLaughlin is responsible for leading how the company provides online solutions to the nearly 5,000 clients using one of its Internet products. Focused on helping nonprofits develop successful integrated online solutions, MacLaughlin currently oversees product development forBlackbaud NetCommunity and NetSolutionsand partners with the development team at Blackbaud's Kintera Division on Blackbaud Sphere development and integration. MacLaughlin also establishedBlackbaud Interactive, the company's Internet strategy and services group.He has spent more than 12 years building successful online initiatives with a broad range of Fortune 500 firms, government and educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations. He is a frequent speaker and highly regarded presenter at several nonprofit conferences and events. Steve earned both his undergraduate degree and a Master of Science degree in Interactive Media from Indiana University.
