Sage Fundraising 50 v8.2; Donation Processing Security & E-Philanthropy Integration

Sage North America today announced general availability for Sage Fundraising 50 v8.2, its most intuitive, easy-to-use, and affordable fundraising management software. Sage Fundraising 50 v8.2 features full integration to two Sage connected services: Sage Fundraising Online and Sage Exchange.

Sage Fundraising Online is a flexible fundraising and event management service that helps nonprofits increase giving, participation, and overall support by connecting more effectively with supporters online. Sage Exchange is Sage's secure, Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) certified, integrated payments platform.

"The seamless integration to Sage Exchange helps us feel more confident and better able to promise our donors that we have the best, most secure system for electronic donations," said Tamara Fox, AAHA Helping Pets Fund administrator for the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Foundation in Lakewood, Colo.

The integration with Sage Exchange enhances the security of donation (payment) processing by removing any barriers inhibiting organizations from PA-DSS validation. All credit card data relating to Sage Fundraising 50 v8.2 is securely stored within the Sage Exchange data vault. Sage Exchange encrypts all credit transactions as they are processed, so a donor's credit card information is never stored within the organization's own systems.

In addition to the Sage Exchange integration for secure and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant donation processing, Sage Fundraising 50 v8.2 offers additional reporting options to help identify donor trends; improved Canadian receipting; and other customer-requested enhancements.

Another major feature of Sage Fundraising 50 v8.2 is the tight integration to Sage Fundraising Online connected service. Users can quickly deploy Sage Fundraising Online to assist them in maximizing existing marketing strategies and programs to help boost results for event-based fundraisers, rapid response campaigns, and annual appeals. The service is compatible with almost any website, software platform, or content publishing system, enabling nonprofits to easily create multiple giving forms - in context and alignment with existing marketing messaging - to better reach new and existing donors online. Portable donation and event registration forms can be personalized and shared by anyone, anywhere on the Web.

"We're a medium-sized nonprofit organization that isn't interested in an expensive or overly technical database," said Patty Counihan, development officer and function manager for Concord Museum in Concord, Mass. "Sage Fundraising 50 provides everything we could possibly need from a donor management system. It's more user-friendly and straightforward than anything else I've worked with."
