Nonprofits Raise $50 Million with Charity Dynamics’ Boundless Fundraising

Nonprofits using Boundless Fundraising from Charity Dynamics continue to achieve extraordinary results, and have now raised more than $50 million directly through the social networking application in less than two years.

Launched in January of 2009, Boundless Fundraising is a highly effective and easy-to-use fundraising channel for event participants that enables them to increase awareness and giving via their Facebook® networks. More than 70 nonprofits currently use Charity Dynamics' innovative social networking application to strengthen fundraising and support for more than 18,000 events across the country. Organizations using Boundless Fundraising include American Cancer Society, LIVESTRONG, American Diabetes Association, Autism Speaks, Arthritis Foundation, and National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

To date, more than one million individuals have downloaded Boundless Fundraising to help drive their fundraising efforts for special events.

"In the past year we've seen an exponential increase in the adoption of Boundless Fundraising by individuals taking part in thousands of events across the country," said Donna Wilkins, president of Charity Dynamics. "Nonprofits are now raising nearly 3x the amount they raised last year through the application, and as the use of social media and mobile applications continues to increase, we don't expect this trend to slow down."

Charity Dynamics has continued to enhance Boundless Fundraising's capabilities to help organizations empower event participants and effectively extend their fundraising activities to Facebook, email and mobile devices.

"Mobile solutions like Boundless Fundraising represent an emerging opportunity for nonprofits to connect with supporters in new and creative ways," added Wilkins. "As Facebook remains the most frequently downloaded application on mobile devices, organizations that are achieving the most success are the ones bringing their social media strategies to mobile devices in order to continue providing the most effective communication and fundraising tools to supporters."

The evolution and impact of mobile solutions on nonprofit fundraising is one of several topics that Wilkins and other Charity Dynamics consultants will be presenting on during two of the nonprofit sector's leading user conferences. Blackbaud's 2010 Conference for Nonprofits happens this week, October 20-22, in Washington D.C. Convio's Summit 2010 happens the following week, October 25-27, in Baltimore, Maryland.
