Mid-year Results Show Overall Charitable Giving to Nonprofits Increased 1.6%

The Blackbaud Index today reported that overall charitable giving to nonprofits increased 1.6% and online giving increased 8.0% for the first half of 2014 as compared to the first half of 2013. In addition, overall charitable giving grew 1.5% and online giving grew 8.7% for the three months ending June 2014 as compared to the same period in 2013. Read more...

Blackbaud Acquires WhippleHill

Blackbaud announced the acquisition of WhippleHill Communications, Inc., a New Hampshire-based software company that exclusively serves K12 private schools through its innovative, cloud-based solutions.

When it comes to charitable giving, some U.S. locales consistently rise to the top in their adoption of digital giving channels. Blackbaud has released its sixth annual ranking of the Most Generous Online U.S. Cities in 2013 based on online giving data from Blackbaud customers.
