The Blackbaud Index reports that overall charitable giving has increased by 0.2% overall and online giving is up significantly by 10.6%. This is for the most recent 3 months ending in October 2014. DAF Grants to Charities Exceeded $9.66 Billion

The 2014 Donor-Advised Fund Report, the most complete source for U.S. donor-advised funds (DAFs) statistics, found that grants from DAFs to qualified charities reached a record high of $9.66 billion in 2013, a 12.6 percent increase over 2012. Total DAF charitable assets grew nearly 20 percent to $53.74 billion according to the report, published annually by National Philanthropic Trust (NPT). Read more...
