Wisely, a philanthropic fundraising enablement platform that leverages AI to help nonprofits simplify and pursue donations more efficiently, today announced it has raised $1.15M USD in seed funding to expand its operations in North America. The round was led by Ripple Ventures with participation from Verstra Ventures and the Maple Leaf Angels. Founded by engineers, fundraisers and nonprofit software executives in response to organizational inefficiencies and archaic tools used in the sector, Wisely’s fundraising platform adapts to and integrates with existing donor data, and creates customized plans for the organization to optimize workflow and funds raised.  The philanthropic sector sees an estimated $440 billion raised each year across North America. 

To mark the 30^th convening of The SRI Conference, organizers today announced a new annual award designed to spotlight and nurture the emerging generation of leaders who will guide the SRI/ESG/impact investing industry well into the second half of the 21st Century. Recipients of the inaugural “SRI Conference 30 Under 30” award will be announced on October 7, 2019. The SRI Conference will announce the full list of honorees in a special blog post and The SRI Conference website and as part of a national news release highlighting the Award.
