This software allows the user to track donations and donors plus a whole lot more. It has the capabilities to track vendors, deposits, events and contact information.


In Use
Helping Hands has many innovative tools to help complete tasks quickly and efficiently. The layout and design makes it easy to have all information at your fingertips. It utilizes dashboards to give you easy access to information to track and manage all donors, donations and fundraising activities.


The multiple modules make it easy to enter and retrieve crucial information for tracking and managing donors and donations. The Contact Form gives you complete access to all donor data on a single page. It supplies demographics, giving history, related contact and event attendance. The Deposit Form allows for quick entry of donations and gives you the ability to print donation acknowledgement letters directly from the screen.

Technology employed
Helping Hands is compatible with both Windows and Mac and also compatible with most mobile devices. It runs on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 or on Mac OS x 10.5 or higher. This software can be shared through a network or hosted over the internet.

Besides being able to track donors and donations this application has a robust Communications Center and Reporting system. There are numerous built in reports to help track and manage your organization. All of the reports in this system can be made into PDF’s, printed, emailed or exported into Excel with one click of the mouse.

The pricing for a single user is $1999 and includes one license for Helping Hands and FileMaker Pro 11. It also includes a one day training class. You can also purchase additional users, and other options including importing, training and customization services. Helping Hands can also be hosted over the internet and monthly subscription options are available.

My Opinion
I was super impressed with Helping Hands. This is a comprehensive robust system that has many built in features that make navigating the system quick and easy. The layout and design are superb with all information easily accessible with the click of a mouse. This is the ideal software for handling all aspects of running a nonprofit organization.
