With so many fundraising options today it's hard to decide which software will benefit your company the most. You need to look at cost, simplicity, and the perks that come along with the software. The founders of Giveffect saw that softwares like Kickstarter or Indiegogo could only offer clients so much and set out to make a program that went beyond the tools that were being offered to them from other services.
Giveffect allows both organizations and individuals to post their project on their own website. Among the many benefits of Giveffect, organizations can give donors perks for donating, they can keep track of the donations, get information on each donor, and all the money raised goes directly to the nonprofit organization. When it comes to back-end information, they can run reports and analytics helping them gage how successful their campaign is.
Many organizations have complained that the fundraising software they are using does not give them access to their donors. So although they raised a considerable amount of money, they don't have information about the donors. With Giveffect you get donor information so that the next time you have a fundraiser or a Gala, you can easily contact your supporters.
Giveffect exists solely on the internet. The founders understand that new programs can be tricky to navigate, and therefore customer service representatives can answer any questions an individual or company may have.
Ease of Use
When navigating through Giveffect myself, I was confused because they offer so many different programs and tools. I was only able to fully process the program after I spoke to a spokeperson for Giveffect. It is definitely a learning curve because there are so many benefits that you can take advantage of it, it can at times seem overwhelming. With that being said, once you fully understand the program, you shouldn't have any problem taking advantage of the program.
Giveffect is a program that nonprofit organizations and individuals can use to raise funds for the causes that matter. Giveffect is a program that allows donors and organizers to connect in a fun, safe, and proactive environment.
To me it seems as though the founders of Giveffect took the perks from every other fundraising website out today and combined them to create Giveffect. Although they have so many great ideas, these great ideas get lost because there's so much going on within their website. It's almost as if their spreading themselves too thin. Instead of focusing on one aspect of the fundraising, they include everything you could ever want a fundraising website to be- and then more. Which is very noble of them, but not efficient. You cannot excel at everything, and at a certain point it starts to hurt your company and I think that that's what they'll be seeing in the future. Even their website is confusing because it throws so much information at you, it's hard to get your bearings.
Personally I looked through the website on my own, got a demo, and still don't know if I grasp Giveffect and all it has to offer. It's a shame because talking to the Giveffect spokespeople, they do have a lot of love for their program and for helping others, that if they can just make Giveffect more concise by sticking to one or two ideas and running with them, it would be more beneficial than trying to take the best of each fundraising site and mashing them all together.
