EdSurge will now be a nonprofit newsroom thanks to an acquistion by the International Society for Technology Education, reports Ed Surge.

EdSurge is joining the ranks of nonprofit newsrooms. Today the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) announced that it has agreed to acquire EdSurge, in a move that leaders of both organizations say will provide a stronger financial base to continue to produce EdSurge’s journalism, research and other services about the intersection of technology and education.

Salesforce is expanding its offerings in its Nonprofit Success Pack, reports the Nonprofit Times. 

Cloud technology firm Salesforce, which earlier this year announced it was folding its .org division, announced an expansion of its Nonprofit Cloud capabilities, adding case management, volunteer management and program management.
