According to the Sacramento Business Journal, Social Interest Solutions, developer of the One-e-App, has received grants totaling $600,000. The organization will use the grants to supports its mission of using technology to connect low income people to health and human services.

Software Company Teams with Non-profit to Help Close Gender Gap

A San Francisco startup is hoping to narrow the tech gender gap, reports IT Business Edge. Entelo is teaming up with Boston based CodeEd, a non-profit that provides computer science and programming classes for underprivileged girls. Under the new partnership everytime someone uses the Entelo platform the company will make a donation to CodeEd.

Camp Matches Programmers with Non-profits

GiveCamp Lansing is taking applications until March 21, reports the Lansing State Journal. During the GiveCamp designers and programmers will work with non-profits to create custom software for the non-profit.
