Tech Drive for Digital Equity

Minnesota Tech For Success held a Tech Drive for Education to help bring digital equity to Minnesota students, reports Hometown Source. 

The third-annual Tech Drive for Education will take place at the Lakeville Affinity Plus Credit Union on Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Teacher Appreciation Month in partnership with Minnesota Tech for Success, a nonprofit creating digital equity for Minnesota students.

OceanKind Wants to Clean Up the Oceans

According to TechCrunch, OceanKind is a new nonprofit with a mission to clean up the world’s oceans. 

When Matthew Dunbabin saw the devastation wrought on tropical reef ecosystems by overfishing and climate change, he wondered if robots could help. With money from the Queensland University of Technology, where he is a professor of robotics, Dunbabin’s team developed prototype surface and underwater robots to reseed dying reefs with tiny coral larvae.
