Sage North America Brings Millennium Nonprofit CRM into Reseller Channel

Sage North America has announced two new business partner programs for Sage Millennium, highly customizable, web-based, nonprofit CRM (constituent relationship management) software for large nonprofit organizations. Applications are currently being accepted for both the Authorized Referral Partner Program and Authorized Reseller and Certified Implementation Partner Program. Sage Millennium was previously only available for purchase directly from Sage.

“The nonprofit industry is increasingly demanding additional choices when it comes to constituent management technology,” said Krista Endsley, senior vice president and general manager for Nonprofit Solutions at Sage. “Organizations will now have greater access to Sage Millennium, as well as the freedom to either work with Sage directly or with one of our highly-qualified business partners to customize the fundraising technology solution that is right for them.”

The Authorized Referral Partner program is designed to give interested business partners the ability to nurture Sage Millennium prospects and receive a referral fee on license revenue. The Authorized Reseller and Certified Implementation Partner program is for business partners wishing to take ownership of the entire sales and implementation process.

Sage Millennium has an easy-to-use, unique web-based design that can be set up as an Internet or intranet application. The software helps nonprofit organizations, such as higher education institutions, foundations, and healthcare providers, analyze and manage high-end prospecting, relationship tracking, sophisticated campaigns, major gifts, and donors development. The product also provides the detailed and custom reporting capabilities needed by key stakeholders and supporters.

Released in November 2009, the latest version of Sage Millennium, version 7.8, features a new user interface with updated screens and icons, as well integration with Find Wealth On Line from Wealth Engine. Sage Millennium also integrates with Sage Payment Solutions to provide nonprofits with a complete payment processing solution right from Sage Millennium. The optional Visual Analyzer module provides an interactive dashboard interface for non-technical users, while the optional Advanced Data Examiner module quickly and accurately imports data into the Sage Millennium database without the need for programming knowledge. A graphical tool called Prospect Tree helps users lay out relationships between donors.

“Customer feedback is an essential building block to our product development,” said Susan Blakely, user-centered design manager for Nonprofit Solutions at Sage. “We conduct numerous studies, allowing users to interact with the software and provide feedback on usability, terminology, relevance, and, most importantly, their needs and expectations. Based on feedback, we make changes as we develop future versions of Sage Millennium to help ensure we continue to meet our current customer and the overall market’s needs.”
