GLIDE’s online charity auction to win a lunch with Warren Buffet has closed, reports the Huffington Post. This year’s winning bid of $1 million dollars is down from last year’s winning bid of $3.5 million dollars.

A new survey on behalf of the Nonprofit Finance Fund found that 30% of the non-profits surveyed upgraded their technology within the last year, reports Talkin Cloud. Most non-profits reported the reason for the upgrade was to improve efficiency.

According to the Washington Post, the online fundraising site Kickstarter has funded more art related projects than the National Endowment of the Arts. Kickstarter reports funding over $300 million dollars worth of art projects in 2012, in comparison the NEA only funded about $150 Million.
