According to Tech Crunch, Civic Champ has designed an app that helps  nonprofits manage their volunteers.

Nonprofits employ 10% of the U.S. workforce and generate some $2 trillion in revenue each year and yet, many charitable organizations are still using pen and paper to track their volunteers


Teens Hacking for Good

The nonprofit 18 Tech Ventures was started by two teens who wanted to give their high school counterparts a way to take part in a hack-a-thon, reports KPIX 5.

Working out of a family garage, two teenaged friends are making it possible for thousands of students to get real-world experience in computer science.


Tech Access for Everyone

PCs for People is expanding their nonprofit tech recycling program to Baltimore, reports Technical.ly. The program provides access to technology for those that are below the 20% poverty level. 

An organization working to increase digital access by refurbishing computers recycled by businesses is expanding to Baltimore.
