According to the Chronicle of Philanthropy, 77 Checkout for Charity campaigns, which ask customers to round up or donate at the time of purchase, raised $388 million dollars in 2014. eBay’s Giving Works was the highest grossing and the top cause was children’s charities, which raised $199 million dollars for various organizations.
